In the quiet town situated in a rural area in the South called Meriwether, a major city on the rise and claim to fame was its rural beginnings and industrial power through the Mosley family, who has hugely helped the city the family helped found. It's Founder's Day and the Son of the Patriarch of the Mosley family, Forrest Mosley sits inside the living room of the Mosley Manor and reads files as his Mother, Geneva E. Mosley walks inside and asks her Son "Your Daddy's down at the festival and your Son's coming home." Forrest tells his Mother "I've really missed my boy." Geneva walks over and asks "Well why don't we get out of here because he'll be here tonight, and you know your Daddy, he will be upset if we aren't there. Good place for your Son to appear.. and knowing James, we need to be there. The new guy's supposed to make his appearance." Forrest sits back, and says "I'll send J.R. a text, and see him there." Forrest and his Mother heads to the town square for the celebration.
In Downtown Meriwether, there's another major powerhouse that is a friendly challenger to the Mosley family and known as Lord Incorporated, ran by two sisters, Alexis Lord, and Julia Lord-Mosley. In Alexis' office, Alexis and Kate sits at Alexis' desk, as Julia gets up and asks her Sister "Instead of sitting up here, shouldn't we be down there with the people and wait for your friend?" Alexis pours herself a glass of wine and laughs "Sis, he wants to see his office first. He will help us with what James and Forrest is plotting. Mama and Daddy left this to us and we need new blood." Julia warns "This man is known to have a bad temper, and ruthless and cold blooded. What if he hurts somebody?" Alexis boldly says, taking a drink and getting up "Julia, Dallas Sullivan is our key to defeating James once and for all, he will no longer take us as a damn joke!" Alexis and Julia heads out as Alexis asks her Sister "Now you are the oldest?" Julia rolls her eyes, as they head to the elevator. The door opens as they gasp and Dallas Sullivan goes "My private plane arrived here a little early." Alexis and Julia asks "Ready to see the town and we'll show you a place you will enjoy since you are similar to us." Dallas asks "Oh you mean ready to show ol James how this shit is done?" Julia warns Dallas, as they get on the elevator "We will discuss that idea later." Alexis asks Dallas "Can I have a hug? I have not seen you since we met at the convention." They all chat as they head to the town square.
At the Meriwether Square, the Founder's day celebration is in action, and over by the stage sits James Mosley, who tells the Police Chief, Lynn Miller "You are doing a fine job, and that talk with the sheriff,,," Lynn quickly tells James "I earned my position." James quips "You and your Mama are known for doing anything to get to.." Lynn slaps James and walks off, as someone approaches him and goes "Still giving Lynn a hard time I see?" James turns as J.R. Mosley, James' Grandson greets him as they hug, and Geneva and Forrest soon arrive and a family reunion takes place. Away from the Mosleys, Lynn runs into Alexis and Julia, as Lynn says "I want answers on Sullivan." Alexis asks "What type? Is he single? I do not know, I know he will save my Daddy's company and kick James where it hurts! I will own Mosley Industries." Julia tells Lynn "My sister's met Dallas and is excited." Lynn smiles "I see. I wish both of you luck. Ronald Lord was very kind and give your Mother my wishes." Julia and Alexis are quiet, as Julia asks "So where is Dallas?" Alexis and Julia walks over as Alexis gives Dallas a call to no answer. Back at Lord Incorporated, Dallas sends a text to Alexis, and sits in his new office, and says "I don't enjoy big events. I wish to settle in and get to work." Alexis looks at her Sister, as they walk over and Geneva greets Alexis and Julia with a hug, as Forrest looks at Julia, and Julia and Forrest hugs, and Julia looks at Forrest's Son, as James asks "Where is the savior hiding? Too good to introduce himself to everyone?" Back in Dallas' new office, Dallas gets on the computer, and looks at a photo and goes "Your ass is mine Mosley."
